Course Description :

ecome an Industry 4.0 expert! In the Master in Robotics programme, you learn how to foster innovation and new technologies. You not only get to expand your technical and management knowledge but also your soft and leadership skills.


What you will learn

Our interdisciplinary programme helps you design, implement and commercialise innovative systems and technologies. You will gain in-depth insight into top technologies of the digital industry, such as Digital Twin, automation or additive manufacturing.

During your studies you will become proficient in current topics such as robotics, extended reality or circular economy and get to strengthen your soft and hard skills thanks to our project and skills-based concept.

In addition, you receive the “Siemens Mechatronic Systems Certificate Program (SMSCP)” certification at level 1-3.

Our study concept

Your studies are divided into 5-week blocks. During this time you can focus on one engineering or management topic which you get to view from different angles. Thanks to this approach you can learn about real world challenges and strengthen the skills that employers are looking for.

It consists of 4 semester. First semester:


  • Mathematical Methods reviewed (Tutorial)0
  • Electrical and Electronics Engineering5
  • CAD Design and Design Systems (NX by Siemens)5
  • Sustainable Technology Management I: Industrial Networking incl. Production Processing Game5
  • Sustainable Technology Management II: Innovation Radar & Technological Foresight5
  • Data Analysis and Basic Programming Languages5
  • Project Lab (incl. SMSCP Level 1) & Measurement Technologies5

The study programme includes the “Siemens Mechatronic Systems Certificate Program (SMSCP)” on all three levels.


Our requirements

To submit your application, you will need the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Environmental Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering etc.) or (Natural) Sciences)  please submit your degree certificate and your transcript of records. (If you do not yet have the degree certificate, you can also submit it later).
  • School-leaving certificate (Hochschulzugangsberechtigung)

Tuition fees

  • citizenship | EU/EEA (incl. Switzerland, Western Balkans): EUR 800 / month
  • citizenship | Non-EU/EEA: EUR 6450 / semester

The monthly/semester tuition fees remain the same for the entire duration of the study programme. 

An additional enrolment fee of EUR 500 (EU/EEA) / EUR 900 (non-EU/EEA) is to be paid once at the start of the programme.
